• (1) server license for Windows Server 2008.
• (1) DVD (“media”) for you to install from.
• 30 Client Access Licenses (CAL’s) total are needed (note that most offerings of Windows Server software come with some CAL's).

Please compare the costs of purchasing the Small Business Server (SBS) edition and CAL’s with the Standard edition and standard CAL’s.

Your budget is $1,600.

Are there any extra software or licensing costs to promote this server to a domain controller?
